Radio frequency identification (RFID) is an exciting multidisciplinary field with numerous applications. The 2016 IEEE International Conference on RFID is the premier conference for exchanging all technical research in RFID. The conference attendance boasts an outstanding mix of practitioners and researchers from industry and academia. The conference seeks the highest quality research usually accepting about one-third of the papers submitted. Accepted authors benefit from disseminating their research to a mixed audience that is equal parts industry and academia that outnumber authors and presenters by a factor of 6 to 1.

  • 38% from USA
  • 19% from Germany
  • 11% from China
  • 13% from Sweden, Spain, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Norway
  • 11% from Hong Kong, Korea, India, and Australia
  • 3% from Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and Palestine
  • 5% from other countries

Our 63 TPC Members provided an average of 3.3 reviews per paper along with a very vigorous discussion phase. The acceptance ratio reflects both the competitive nature of IEEE RFID conferences and the high quality of the papers presented this year.
